Repair and operation of the car

Removal, capital repairs and installation of racks of a back suspension bracket

At assembly the new nut of the lower fixing bolt is required.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For ensuring access to the top support of a rack of a back suspension bracket on the Hatchback models release from clamps and remove the side panel of an upholstery from the relevant side of the luggage compartment.

2. On the Station wagon models remove a decorative cover of the panel of a side upholstery from the relevant side of the luggage compartment, then give the top and lower screws of fastening of the panel. Release from clamps and unbend a carpet back.

3. On all models prop up wedges forward wheels, then a back of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding back wheel.

4. In the luggage compartment remove a protective cap of the top support of a rack of a suspension bracket, then give a fixing nut and remove a washer. Trying to remember the adjusting provision of each of components, remove a dish-shaped washer, a rubber pillow of a support, ring and remote plugs.

5. From under the car give a nut and take a bolt of the lower support of a rack. Remove a rack.

At assembly the nut of a fixing bolt is subject to replacement without fail. Check a rubber pillow of the top support for existence of signs of aging of material and mechanical damages. In case of need make replacement.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Get a rack on the regular place, having tracked correctness of its arrangement of rather body elements. Insert a through bolt of the lower support, screw a nut, having tightened so far only by hand.
2. In the luggage compartment install remote and ring plugs, then a rubber pillow and dish-shaped washer on a rack.
3. Establish a washer, screw the top fixing nut and tighten it with the required effort. Establish a protective cap of the top support of a rack, then return into place the decorative panel of a side upholstery of the luggage compartment.

4. Establish into place a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts with the required effort. Shake the car for shrinkage of components of a rack, then tighten a nut of a bolt of fastening of the lower support of a rack with the required effort.
