PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the brake drum (see the Head the Brake system).

2. Having hooked the screw-driver with a flat sting, take an epiploon from assembly of the brake drum - try to remember how it was established.

3. Take the internal bearing from a drum.

4. Prop up assembly and beat out from it a holder of the external bearing.

5. Turn a drum and beat out a holder of the internal bearing.

6. Carefully smooth out a landing nest in a drum, having completely removed all traces of dirt and old lubricant. Teases, agnails and roughnesses remove by means of a fine-grained emery paper. Attentively check a surface for existence of cracks and other signs of wear. In case of need make replacement of a component. Replacement of bearings and an epiploon is made without fail, regardless of their state as at dismantle external holders inevitably collapse. Prepare new bearings, an epiploon and special universal lubricant.
7. Before installation slightly oil external holders of bearings pure motive for the purpose of landing simplification.
8. Having reliably propped up a drum, put an external holder of the external bearing on the place. Densely begin to knock a holder in a reception nest, having tracked perpendicularity of its landing. As a mandrel use a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter - the mandrel has to rest only against the outer edge of a holder.
9. Turn a drum and, working in the same order, establish in it an external holder of the internal bearing.
10. Make sure of correctness of landing of both external holders, then carefully wipe assembly.

11. Fill lubricant both conical roller bearings, also apply lubricant on their external holders.

12. Put the internal bearing in the external holder.

13. Fill a new epiploon with sponges inside in a reception nest from the back party of a drum.

14. Put an epiploon aflush with the surface of the reel, or against the stop in a back part of the last. In case of need the epiploon can be begun to knock in a nest by means of the mandrel made of a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter. Remember that the mandrel has to rest only against the firm outer edge of an epiploon.

15. Turn a drum and put the external conical roller bearing in the external holder. Establish a gear washer.
16. Fill hug bearings lubricant and establish into place assembly of the brake drum (see the Head the Brake system).
