Check of serviceability of functioning, removal and installation of the valve regulator of pressure in hydraulic contours of brake mechanisms of back wheels

CHECK
|
1. On not equipped ABS models the hydraulic contour of each of back brake mechanisms is equipped with pressure valve regulator that allows to avoid premature blocking of back wheels of the car at sharp braking. Depending on a complete set of model the valve regulator, sensitive to extent of loading of the car, or two hydraulic pressure of the valve, sensitive to change, can be used or one. 2. Valves regulators, sensitive to change of pressure in a path, are rolled directly output unions of back brakes of GTTs. The design of GTTs provides independent functioning of two hydraulic contours - primary and secondary, each of which influences one forward and one (diagonalno located) back wheels. Valves regulators operate as the limiters which are not allowing the hydraulic pressure influencing back brake mechanisms to rise above a certain limit. At such scheme the brake effort developed by forward wheels always is more, than developed by back. 3. The only valve regulator, sensitive to extent of loading of the car, is installed on the car bottom, in its back part and a special spring is connected to the bridge of a back suspension bracket. Concerning the bottom the valve determines the level of the weight loading falling on back wheels by bridge shift size and respectively corrects the size of the maximum admissible hydraulic pressure developed in back brake contours. 4. Check of serviceability of functioning of valves of regulators is made by means of the special diagnostic equipment and for its carrying out the car should be driven away on car repair shop. Recovery repair of the failed valves regulators is not possible, and therefore defective components are subject to replacement assembled. |

REMOVAL
Valves regulators, sensitive to change of pressure
|
1. For the purpose of minimization of losses of hydraulic liquid uncover the GTTs tank, enclose under it a polyethylene film and densely screw on the place. 2. Carefully wipe the valve regulator which is subject to removal and a surface of GTTs around it. 3. Give a cap nipple nut, disconnect a brake tube, then turn out the valve regulator from the main cylinder. Remove and will throw out an old sealing washer э at assembly it is subject to replacement without fail. At once to a zakuporta the open ends of a tube and the union for the purpose of minimization of losses of hydraulic liquid and in order to avoid hit in system of dirt. At once wash away traces of the spilled liquid plentiful amount of cold water. |

Valve regulator, sensitive to extent of loading of the car
|
1. Prop up wedges forward wheels, then a back of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props.
|
2. Mark the provision of a head of a bolt of a spring of the valve in relation to the lever. Give a nut and remove a bolt of fastening of a spring to the valve. Remove washers. |
3. Carefully wipe unions of brake lines and surfaces surrounding them, substitute drain capacity under nipple connections. In order to avoid confusion, mark the valve and tubes brought to it. 4. Give cap nipple nuts and disconnect brake tubes from the valve. At once to a zakuporta the open ends of tubes and an opening in the valve for the purpose of minimization of losses of hydraulic liquid and in order to avoid hit in system of dirt. At once wash away traces of the spilled liquid plentiful amount of cold water. 5. Turn out fixing screws and remove assembly of the valve from a basic arm. |

INSTALLATION
Valves regulators, sensitive to change of pressure
|
1. Clean a carving of nipple connection on GTTs and the valve. Replace sealing washers. Screw the valve on the union and strongly tighten it. 2. Connect a brake tube to the valve, having strongly tightened a cap nipple nut. 3. Remove a polyethylene film from under a cover of the GTTs tank and completely pump over the brake system (see the Section Pumping of Hydraulic System). |

Valve regulator, sensitive to extent of loading of the car
|
1. Start assembly of the valve on the regular place and strongly fix it by screws. 2. Connect brake lines to the unions on the valve (be verified with the marking put in the course of dismantle) and strongly tighten cap nuts. 3. Establish a bolt of a valvate spring, having tracked correctness of placement of washers. Screw a nut. Achieve combination of the tags put at removal of a bolt and tighten a nut with the required effort. 4. Remove a polyethylene film from under a cover of the GTTs tank and completely pump over the brake system (see the Section Pumping of Hydraulic System). Authors of the present manual recommend to drive away the car on car repair shop for check of serviceability of functioning of the valve regulator. |
