1. The driving cable of the parking brake consists of two separate main sections: right and left, the back wheels which are directly connecting brake mechanisms with a control lever the parking brake. Each of sections can be removed and replaced in an individual order.
2. For the purpose of ensuring access to a control lever the parking brake remove back section of the central console. On models without console remove a decorative cover of the lever.
3. Release kontryashchy and adjusting nuts and release the forward end of the cable which is subject to dismantle from a lever equalizer plate.
4. Prop up wedges forward wheels, then a back of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
5. Remove a drum of the corresponding brake mechanism (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of reels of brake mechanisms of back wheels).
6. The screw-driver with a flat sting release the executive lever of the drive of the parking brake from a back part of a brake boot. Disconnect a cable from the lever and pass its tip through an opening in a brake board.
7. Moving along a cable, release it from intermediate clamps and bandages. Try to remember a route of laying of a cable. Replace the clamps damaged in the course of removal of a cable. |
