1. For check of serviceability of functioning of the vacuum amplifier of brakes several times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake for depression dumping, then, holding a pedal of pressed, start the engine. Almost right after start of the engine as soon as in the inlet pipeline necessary depression is created, the pedal has to "fail" considerably. Let's the engine work on single turns at least within two minutes, then muffle it. Now with each following pressing the pedal has to move all touches and a touch with simultaneous reduction of the course.
2. If the vacuum amplifier does not provide the functioning mode described above, first of all it is necessary to check a condition of its control valve (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of the control valve of the vacuum amplifier of brakes with a hose).
3. If the control valve as it should be, therefore internal defect of the servo-driver takes place. Recovery repair of the failed vacuum amplifier is not possible, and therefore the faulty block is subject to replacement.

1. Remove GTTs (see the Section Removal, capital repairs and installation of the main brake cylinder (MBC)). On models with ABS take the hydraulic modulator aside from the block of the servo-driver and fix it there, trying not to subject to overloads of a tube of brake lines.
2. Accurately release a vacuum hose from the sealing plug of the servo-driver through passage. Check a condition of the plug, defective replace.
3. On models with right-hand steering, working in a passenger foot well, take a clamp and remove a finishing cover from the left arm of pedal assembly.

For an otpuskaniye of a clamp take outside its central part. Now release clamps of a carpet and unbend edge of the last, having provided access to the lower nuts of fastening of an arm of pedals. Give nuts of fastening of the left arm. In a motive compartment remove a fixing plate from a partition.

4. On all models remove a clamp and release from a pedal of a foot brake / axis of a pedal of a tip of fastening of a rod of a pusher of the servo-driver of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.

5. Give nuts of fastening of the block of the servo-driver, remove washers, then release a rubber protective cover with a foam cover (if that is provided) from a back part of the block. At assembly of a nut are subject to replacement without fail.

6. Return to a motive compartment and remove the block of the servo-driver of the vacuum amplifier of brakes about the places on a partition. Together with the block remove laying. Check a condition of laying, in case of detection of defects make replacement. The failed amplifier is not subject to recovery repair and also has to be replaced.

2. Carefully smooth out all interfaced surfaces, then establish new sealing laying on a back part of the block of the servo-driver. Start the block on the regular place on a partition of a motive compartment.
3. From interior of the car establish a foam sealing cover, or a protective cover on a back part of the block, then correctly connect a pusher rod to a brake pedal / axis of a pedal.
4. Establish washers, screw new nuts of fastening of the block and tighten them with the required effort.
5. Level a rod tip in relation to a pedal and fix it by a clamp.
6. On models with right-hand steering ask the assistant to take the lower fixing plate and screw nuts of fastening of an arm of pedal assembly, having strongly tightened them. Straighten a carpet and fix its edge by clamps.
7. In a motive compartment check reliability of landing in the block of the sealing plug through passage, then pass throughout it a vacuum hose.
8. Establish to the place of GTTs (see the Section Removal, capital repairs and installation of the main brake cylinder (MBC)).
9. In conclusion check serviceability of functioning of the brake system.
