Skoda Felicia

1. Remove the battery (see the Section Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery).
2. Remove the central console (see the Section Removal and installation of the central console).
3. Remove a steering column (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of assembly of the lock of a cowl).
4. Working according to the elektrooborudovaniyeukazaniye given in the Head Bortovoye, remove the following components:

a) Instrument guard;
b) Radio tape recorder;
c) Lighter;
d) A passenger safety cushion (if that is provided).

5. Turn out a clamp and release the assembly block of safety locks/relay from the dashboard basis from its passenger party.

6. Unbend lock uvulas and take the bearing radio tape recorder sled from a reception nest in the dashboard. Disconnect an antenna cable and the socket of an electrical wiring from assembly of a sled.

7. Having accurately hooked, remove the handle of the hydroproofreader of an optical axis of head block headlights...

... on couple of turns weaken fixing screws, then slightly turn the proofreader's regulator counterclockwise and push it in the dashboard.

8. On models without passenger safety cushion open a cover on the dashboard, release clamps and take a ware box.

9. Turn out two fixing screws located in an opening under installation of an instrument guard. Also give one screw in a nest for installation of a ware box.

10. Moving along bottom edge of the dashboard, turn out all fixing screws located there.

11. In a motive compartment give six nuts of fastening of the panel to a partition, remove washers (four nuts are located directly under a windshield and two - below). Try to remember adjusting provisions of the insulating plates enclosed under four top nuts.

12. In interior of the car by means of the assistant separate the dashboard basis from a partition of a motive compartment, then lift assembly up, removing it from the top fixing hairpins. Separate the panel from a partition and (correcting electrical wiring plaits in openings through passage) take it from the car.

Installation is made upside-down. Before installation of fixture pass all plaits and cables of an electrical wiring throughout appropriate openings through passage. At the first stage fixture drags on only by hand. Then follows, moving to tighten on perimeter of the panel screws and nuts with the required effort. In conclusion connect the battery and check serviceability of functioning of all electric components and switches.
