REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The negative wire always has to be disconnected from the battery first of all, and be connected in the last!

If the car is completed with the audio system of a company complete set Skoda before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the code which is required for shutdown of the lock of security system. On the models equipped with anticreeping system do not forget to disconnect a special key system.

1. Weaken a coupling nut and remove a terminal clip from a negative pole of the battery.

Do not mix a wire - both have isolation of black color.

2. Lift an insulating slip and disconnect a positive wire from the battery.

3. Turn out bolts in the basis of the battery and cast away a clamping level of fastening of the battery.

4. At the corresponding complete set, an otboltita also remove an expansion bar of support of racks of a forward suspension bracket. In case of need remove the top cover of the block of the heater/fan. On petrol models remove the valve of a purge of a coal adsorber from the basis and shift it aside, without disconnecting hoses.
5. At the corresponding complete set disconnect a ventilating tube from the top part of the battery, then take the battery from a motive compartment.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made upside-down At connection of wires to poles of the battery grease terminal knots with acid-free vaseline for the purpose of prevention of development of corrosion.

Always connect a negative wire in the last turn!

On petrol models the detachment of the battery leads to cleaning of memory of a control system of the engine of the current parameters of the last. Recovery of adaptation data can take some time that leads to violation of stability of turns within the first minutes after the next start of the engine.

On the models equipped with the anti-theft device do not forget to take a key from the main block of system.
