The lubrication system - the general information

In the considered engine the combined lubrication system with a full-line oil filter is used. The full volume of the filled-in oil makes 4.5 l.

Necessary working pressure of oil is created by the gear oil pump. Width of gear wheels makes 36 mm. Maslozabornik unites to the pump through sealing laying. The working size of pressure of oil in system makes 0.57 ÷ of 0.67 MPas. At excess of admissible value there is an opening of the reducing valve of the pump.

The sensor switch of a control lamp is fixed on an arm of an oil filter.

Cooling of oil is made in the heat exchanger connected to the engine cooling system.

The oil pump and assembly of a maslozabornik are located in the engine case pallet. The drive of the pump is carried out from the intermediate shaft rotating with a frequency equal to a half of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the engine case pallet (see the Section Pallet - removal, check and installation).
2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pump to the basis of the block of cylinders.
3. Omit assembly of the pump with a maslozabornik, having separated it from the block. At the corresponding complete set remove a plate of a maslootrazhatel.

CHECK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Give screws of fastening of a flange of interface and pick up the phone of a maslozabornik. Remove a sealing ring. Turn out fixing screws and uncover the pump.
2. Carefully clean the pump and check a condition of teeths of its gear wheels.

3. For assessment of size of a side play of gearing rotate gear wheels in different directions. Perform measurement and compare its results to requirements of Specifications.

4. By means of a steel line and the probe of lezviyny type define an axial side play of landing of gear wheels. Compare result to requirements of Specifications.

5. In case of an exit of results of measurements out of limits of admissible values the pump is subject to replacement.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a pump cover, screw and tighten fixing screws with the required effort.
2. Install assembly of a maslozabornik on the pump (do not forget to replace a sealing ring). Tighten fixing screws with the required effort.
3. Install the pump on the block of cylinders, screw and tighten fixing bolts with the required effort.
4. Install into place the case pallet.
