Removal and installation of a cover of a casing of the camshaft

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Disconnect ventilating hoses from a jellied mouth of motive oil on a cover of a head of cylinders.

3. Give two nuts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders and take rubber inserts.

4. Uncover a head of cylinders and accurately release sealing laying from a landing flute. Check a condition of laying.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surface of a head of cylinders and a flute under installation of laying in its cover. Traces of oil have to be completely removed. Fill laying in a flute on a cover, having tracked correctness of its laying on all length.

2. Watching that laying did not jump out of a flute, establish a cover on a head of cylinders. Fill rubber inserts and screw fixing nuts on hairpins. Tighten nuts with the required effort.

3. Connect ventilating hoses to a jellied mouth of motive oil, having strongly fixed them by collars of screw or worm type.

4. In conclusion connect a negative wire to the battery. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of leak of oil.
