1. Strongly cock the parking brake, then a front of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove forward wheels. 2. Visual assessment of residual thickness of frictional slips can be made through the observation port provided in the support case. By means of a steel ruler measure thickness of slips together with metal substrates. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. 3. Assessment of thickness of blocks through an observation port of a support gives only an approximate idea of degree of wear of frictional slips. For more detailed studying of a block it is necessary to remove and to clear carefully. Serviceability of functioning of a support and a condition of a brake disk can be at the same time checked (for more details see the Head the Brake system). 4. In case of wear below an admissible limit of a frictional slip at least replacement all four are subject to one of blocks (in brake mechanisms of both forward wheels). The description of the procedure of replacement of blocks is provided also in the Head the Brake system. 5. In conclusion, establish to the place of a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
