Check of level of gearbox oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tire out the car on a platform / a viewing hole, or and install to its poddomkratta it on props. Track that the car lifted above the ground settled down strictly in the horizontal plane. Check of level of gearbox oil is made before the first in the present day trip, or not less than 5 minutes later after an engine stop. Results of the car of measurement executed right after a stop cannot be considered reliable as a part of oil at the same time will be distributed on surfaces of internal components of the transmission.
2. Wipe RKPP case surface from above, around a speedometer drive arrangement.
3. Turn out a bolt, remove a fixing plate, then take assembly of the drive of a speedometer from a transmission case.
4. Check of level of gearbox oil is made by means of a driving gear wheel of a speedometer which in this case is used as the measuring probe. Dry wipe a gear wheel pure неворсящейся with rags, then against the stop fill driving assembly on the regular place in a transmission case. Again take assembly and determine oil level in a case by length of the moistened part of a gear wheel. The region of the moistened site of a gear wheel has to be located in 4 mm over the basis of the last. Insignificant excess of level of oil is allowed, however it should not fall below the stipulated point at all.
5. If level is insufficient, make the corresponding adjustment, filling in oil of the required grade through an opening under installation of assembly of the drive of a speedometer.
6. Excess of oil can be pumped out from a case through the same opening by means of the syringe or a rubber pear.
7. Having finished adjustment of level of oil, check a condition of a sealing ring of a driving gear wheel of a speedometer, replace a defective ring. Oil a new sealing ring pure gearbox and put driving assembly on the regular place in a transmission case. Enter a fixing plate into gearing with a groove to a gear wheel, then screw and tighten a fixing bolt with the required effort.
