Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline

Components of the inlet pipeline

1 — the Basic flange of the case of a throttle
2 — the Fixing bolt
3 — the Inlet pipeline
4 — the Nut of fastening of the inlet pipeline
5 — the hose of a cooling path Going to a heater

6 — the Sensor of temperature of cooling liquid of system of injection
7 — the Union of connection of a vacuum hose of a cover of a head of cylinders
8 — the Union of connection of a vacuum hose of the amplifier of brakes
9 — the hose of a cooling path Going to a thermostat casing

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Merge from the engine cooling liquid. Alternatively, disconnect a negative wire from the battery. One of hoses of a cooling path from a back part of the inlet pipeline also empty the pipeline.
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring and fuel hoses from assembly of the sensor of fuel consumption (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the Bosch Mono-Motronic system). Alternatively, remove entirely assembly of the case of a throttle.
4. Release collars and disconnect hoses of a cooling path from the inlet pipeline.
5. Disconnect a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from the union on the inlet pipeline.

6. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid in a back part of the inlet pipeline.

7. Directly over the sensor of temperature disconnect the vacuum tube going to a cover of a head of cylinders.

8. Turn out a fixing bolt and disconnect a sampling tube WITH from a back part of the inlet pipeline.

9. All cables and hoses have to be released from the clamps on a body of assembly of the inlet pipeline. Try to remember routes of laying of plaits and lines.

10. In stages give nuts of fastening of the inlet pipeline, then accurately separate the pipeline from a head of cylinders. Try not to damage laying if its further use is supposed.

11. Last time make sure that nothing remained it is connected to the pipeline, then take assembly from a motive compartment. In case of need the basic flange of the case of a throttle can be removed the pipeline after an otdavaniye of fixing nuts.
12. The damaged laying is subject to replacement. If the engine is equipped with the combined assembly of the inlet pipeline / a final collector, it is necessary also the collector is also removed.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:

a) Track purity of the interfaced surfaces of the pipeline and a head of cylinders;
b) Nuts of fastening of the pipeline have to be tightened with the required effort;
c) Track correctness of laying and connection of all cables and hoses;
d) If removed, install into place the throttle case (or connect the corresponding electrical wirings and hoses);
e) In conclusion add liquid in the cooling system.
