1. Park the car on the spacious flat horizontal platform with a hard coating. 2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with the security device before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct code for input of the audio system in action. |
3. Empty the cooling system and turn out spark plugs. 4. Remove the air cleaner with components of an inlet air path (see the Head the Power supply system). Remove a sleeve of supply of the warmed-up air from branch pipes of the air cleaner and a plate of a casing of a final collector. 5. Dump residual pressure in a power supply system (see the Head the Power supply system). 6. Uncover the distributor with the wires connected to it by VV, also remove the runner and the filter. It is optional to remove a head of cylinders (the wire will be to disconnect VV from the ignition coil enough), however it will significantly expand working space and will facilitate access to the distributor.

7. Having in case of need addressed Chapter 3 materials, release fixing collars and disconnect hoses of a cooling path from a thermostat casing. |

8. Disunite sockets of an electrical wiring of the following components:
a) Sensor of a detonation and l-probe. Release both sockets from the arm fixed over a flywheel; b) The sensor of temperature/pressure of the soaked-up air on the inlet pipeline; c) Control unit of a butterfly valve; d) Hall's sensor from the ignition distributor; |

e) The oil pressure sensor switch on a back wall of a head of cylinders. f) An injector(s) of fuel and a plait of an electrical wiring on the inlet pipeline (in case of need see the Head the Power supply system). Release a plait from intermediate clamps and put it aside); g) The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (CTS) on a thermostat casing; h) Having disunited all sockets, release plaits from intermediate clamps and take them aside. |

9. Disconnect the following hoses:
a) The hose connecting the inlet pipeline to the electromagnetic valve of a purge of a coal adsorber (on a mudguard of an arch of the left wheel); b) A vacuum hose of the amplifier of brakes from the inlet pipeline; c) Hoses of giving and return of fuel from the fuel highway. Try to remember the direction of streams and color marking of hoses. Prepare for collecting the spilled fuel. At once to a zakuporta the open ends of hoses and unions in order to avoid hit in a power supply system of dirt and for the purpose of minimization of losses of fuel. |
10. In a back part of the thermostat release wire clamps of fastening of a casing to the giving tube of the water pump passing behind the engine block. Disconnect remained from a thermostat casing (try to remember an order of their connection). 11. Take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of effort of a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units). 12. Remove external covers of a gas-distributing belt and a pulley of a bent shaft (see the Sections Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression, Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers). Take off a gas-distributing belt from a camshaft cogwheel. 13. After removal of a gas-distributing belt the engine can be lifted back in a starting position, and the right support of the unit is connected. 14. In order to avoid casual contact of pistons with valves in the course of removal of a head, authors of the present manual recommend to develop a bent shaft back in situation by several degrees before VMT. 15. Remove a plate of the device of heating of the soaked-up air from the top part of a final collector.

16. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the directing tube of the probe of measurement of level of motive oil to a back part of a head of cylinders. At the corresponding complete set to an otboltita also remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline. 17. Disconnect a gas cable (see the Head the Power supply system). 18. Uncover a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).

... in stages (on a half-turn for approach) weaken bolts of fastening of a head so that the possibility of a reversing their hands appeared. |
20. Make sure that to a head of cylinders did not remain connected any lines of communication. Remove a head from the block of cylinders (in case of need use the help of the assistant, in particular if the head is removed assembled with the pipeline and a collector). 21. Remove laying from the surface of the block interfaced to a head. Do not throw out it, having kept as a template. 22. If performance of capital repairs of a head is supposed.
Separation from a head of the inlet pipeline and final collector
23. The description of procedures of removal and installation of the inlet pipeline is provided to the Head the Power supply system. 24. In stages give the remained fixing nuts (at assembly of a nut are subject to replacement without fail) and remove from a head of cylinders a final collector with laying. 25. Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces, lay new laying, then establish a final collector. Screw new fixing nuts and tighten them with the required effort. |
