Removal and installation of a natyazhitel and cogwheels of a belt of the GRM drive

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Make an immobilization of the engine and car:

a) Disconnect a negative wire from the battery;
b) Prop up wedges back wheels, cock the parking brake and transfer RKPP control lever to neutral transfer.


Natyazhitel

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring the piston of the first cylinder into the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression) and remove the top and lower sections of an external cover of a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers).

2. Having released a nut of a nave of a roller of a natyazhitel, weaken a gas-distributing belt. Give a fixing nut...

also remove a natyazhitel from a hairpin.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Without applying any solvents, carefully wipe assembly of a natyazhitel. Turning manually estimate freedom of rotation of a roller of a natyazhitel. Pay attention to existence of breakthroughs and points of jamming. The worn-out natyazhitel is not subject to restoration and has to be replaced.


Installation and check of an isprvnost of functioning

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Put on a roller a hairpin, then acquire a fixing nut.
2. Establish a gas-distributing belt and adjust effort of its tension (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers).

3. For the purpose of check of an isprvnost of functioning of a natyazhitel press a finger on a belt on the site in the middle between cogwheels of the camshaft and TNVD - combination of adjusting tags of a roller at the same time will be broken. After an otpuskaniye of a belt of a tag have to return to a starting position, having combined with each other.

4. At identification of signs of jamming replace a natyazhitel.
5. Establish to the place of a cover of a gas-distributing belt, pulleys of an auxiliary driving belt, a support of the engine and all other components removed for the purpose of ensuring access. Connect a negative wire to the battery.


Camshaft cogwheel

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring the engine into the provision of VMT (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression), then uncover a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers). Having released the central nut of a natyazhitel, weaken a belt and remove it from a camshaft cogwheel.

2. By means of the bifurcate lock record a camshaft cogwheel from a provorachivaniye, having prepared for an otdavaniye of a bolt of its fastening.

3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel.

In view of potential danger of damage of internal components of a head in case of a casual provorachivaniye of the camshaft at the taken-off gas-distributing belt, take the appropriate measures of precaution. Authors of the present manual recommend to take away a bent shaft by several degrees from the provision of VMT back. Do not forget to return a shaft to former situation before installation of a belt.

4. Remove a cogwheel from a camshaft pin.
5. Check a condition of an epiploon of the camshaft. In case of identification of signs of leaks make replacement (see the Section Replacement of an Epiploon of the Camshaft).
6. Carefully wipe the interfaced surfaces of a cogwheel and a pin of a shaft.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a cogwheel on a shaft pin, having taken care of combination of a landing ledge with a shponochny groove.
2. Make sure that the bent shaft is exposed in the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression), then establish a gas-distributing belt and adjust effort of its tension (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers).
3. Establish into place all details removed for the purpose of ensuring access, adjust effort of a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units and connect a negative wire to the battery.


Cogwheel of a bent shaft

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring the engine into the provision of VMT (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression), then uncover a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers). Having released the central nut of a natyazhitel, weaken a belt and remove it from a camshaft cogwheel.
2. Ask the assistant to jam a gear wreath of a flywheel through an opening under installation of a starter, having blocked thereby a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye. Release a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel. The description of procedures of removal and installation of a starter is provided in the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine.
3. Turn out a bolt and remove a cogwheel.
4. Check a condition of an epiploon of a bent shaft. In case of identification of leaks make replacement (see the Section Replacement of Epiploons of a Bent Shaft).
5. Carefully wipe the interfaced surfaces of a cogwheel and a pin of a shaft.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 

1. Put on a cogwheel a shaft pin, having tracked combination of a landing ledge with a shponochny groove. Oil a fixing bolt, screw it and tighten with the required effort.

It is better to postpone final tightening of a bolt in order to avoid damages of a head of cylinders at a casual provorachivaniye of a shaft until the moment of installation of a gas-distributing belt.

2. Make sure that the bent shaft is in the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression), then establish a belt of the GRM drive and adjust effort of its tension (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers).
3. Establish the removed details upside-down.


Cogwheel of an intermediate shaft

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring the engine into the provision of VMT (see the Section Description of the Main Knots and Mechanisms), then uncover a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers). Having released the central nut of a natyazhitel, weaken a belt and remove it from a camshaft cogwheel.
2. By means of the bifurcate lock block a cogwheel of an intermediate shaft.

3. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove a cogwheel. At the corresponding complete set take a spline.

4. Check a condition of an epiploon of a shaft, in case of need make its replacement (see the Section Replacement of an Epiploon of an Intermediate Shaft).
5. Carefully wipe the interfaced surfaces of a cogwheel and a pin of a shaft.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At the corresponding complete set establish into place a spline (the flat party up). Put on a cogwheel a shaft pin, having tracked combination of a reciprocal groove with a spline.
2. Block a cogwheel from a provorachivaniye and tighten a fixing bolt with the required effort.
3. Make sure that the bent shaft is in the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the end of a step of compression), then establish a belt of the GRM drive and adjust effort of its tension (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive and its covers).
4. Establish into place all components which were removed for the purpose of ensuring access. Adjust effort of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt and connect a negative wire to the battery.
