Block of cylinders

In iron casting of the block openings of cylinders are pierced and five radical support of a bent shaft are created. The general view and an order of installation of components of the block of cylinders are presented on illustrations. Covers of radical bearings fasten to a block body special bolts of M10. The third (average) radical bearing is persistent, perceives the arising axial loadings and limits a longitudinal side play of a shaft.

Cranked and intermediate shaft

The bent shaft is forged from steel. Necks of radical and conrod bearings are subjected to careful polishing. On a forward pin of a shaft spaces for landing of a cogwheel of a belt of the GRM drive and a sealing epiploon of the first radical bearing are provided. Besides cranked and distributive also intermediate shaft transferring rotation from a bent shaft to oil and vacuum pumps is provided in the engine.

Conrod and piston group

Shod rods have the double-T section and a direct section of the lower head. In the top head the bronze plug is pressed. The lower head is cut in the middle and completed with inserts of the conrod bearing. The correct mutual provision of a cover of a rod and inserts of the conrod bearing is designated by nakernenny tags (And). At installation on the engine the rod has to be developed by tags (V) forward. The cover of the conrod bearing fastens to the lower head bolts. In the course of performance of capital repairs it is accepted to make replacement of bolts of fastening of covers of conrod bearings.

Pistons are cast from aluminum alloy and have the flat bottom with selection under the vortex camera. At installation of new conrod and piston assemblies it is necessary to check the size of a vystupaniye of pistons over the surface of the block of cylinders for the purpose of determination of necessary thickness of laying. At the size of a vystupaniye of pistons from 0.66 to 0.86 mm laying with one tag is established. At a vystupaniye of 0.87 ÷ 0.90 mm - with two, and, at last, at a vystupaniye 0.91 ÷ 1.02 - with three. At selection of laying the size of a vystupaniye of each of pistons has to be checked. As a starting point the maximum result undertakes.

The piston finger has floating landing. Before installation of a finger the piston should be warmed up to the temperature of 60 °C. Fixing of a finger is carried out by means of two lock rings.

On a wall of the piston three flutes under installation of piston rings are executed. In the top flutes two compression rings, in lower - oil scraper are established. In use the car expansion of gaps in locks of the top compression and oil scraper rings up to the size of 1.2 mm, lower compression - 0.6 mm is allowed. The maximum admissible side side play of compression rings makes 0.25 mm, oil scraper - 0.15 mm. At installation on the piston of a ring are developed by locks at an angle 120 °, so that ин one of locks did not appear on an axis of a piston finger.

Head of cylinders

The general view of a head of cylinders with components of the valvate mechanism is presented on an illustration. The head fastens to the block ten bolts with heads like TORX. The order of tightening of bolts is similar described for the petrol engine of 1.6 l.

The cover of a head is put on the hairpins screwed in camshaft support and fastens three nuts.

The camshaft is laid in five support and settles down directly over valves. For the drive of valves the pushers equipped with hydrocompensators of valvate gaps are used.

The directing plugs and saddles of valves are pressed in a head and are among replaceable components.

Valves are installed vertically and have a line arrangement. Each valve is equipped with two springs which rest the lower end faces against a basic washer, and top - in a plate. The plate of springs is fixed on the valve by crackers of the cutting lock.

The cam of the camshaft rests against a pusher not precisely on the center that forces the valve to turn in the course of the movement.

Valves are exposed at manufacturer to special processing and do not need additional grinding in. In case of detection of defects valves (and their saddles) are subject to replacement.

The steel camshaft rotates in five bearings of sliding which are not equipped with replaceable inserts. The camshaft drive (and TNVD) is carried out by zubchatoremenny transfer. The effort of a tension of a gear belt is regulated by automatically hydraulic natyazhitel. Replacement of a belt is made after removal of the engine from the car. At installation of a belt it is necessary to achieve combination of tags on a cogwheel of a bent shaft and the block a cylinders/flywheel and a dome of coupling, and also a cogwheel of the camshaft and a cover of a belt, a cogwheel of TNVD and a landing flange.

In a cast cover of a head of cylinders the maslozalivny mouth equipped with hermetically closed carving stopper is equipped. From below the opening of a jellied mouth is closed by a maslootrazhatel. For fastening of a cover to a head three nuts, are used by the decorative rubber or plastic traffic jams closed outside.

Water pump

The water pump on a design differs from used on petrol engines. The pump is installed on an arm to which the thermostat case with the taking-away branch pipe fastens.
