1. Remove a tip of the corresponding draft (see the Section Removal and installation of external tips of steering drafts).
2. Carefully clear of dirt of a surface of draft and a case of the rack drive near points of landing of a protective cover. Mark the provision of a cover on a case and a bar of draft. Release bandage tapes and remove a cover both from a case of the steering mechanism, and from draft.
3. By means of a special key release an internal tip of draft from a steering rack - hold a lath the key got on specially provided lysk by Rozhkov. Try not to create excessive load of the steering mechanism in the course of a detachment of a tip.
4. Remove assembly of a steering rack. Check the hinge of an internal tip of draft for existence of signs of an excessive weak point or souring. Make sure that the bar of draft is not bent and has no visible mechanical damages. Replace a defective bar. Authors of the present manual recommend to make replacement of a protective cover of a tip regardless of its state.

2. Check quality of stuffing of the hinge lubricant, in case of need add necessary amount of lubricant like Milykote Longterm 2/78, then accurately put on a protective cover a bar of draft and pull it on a case of the steering mechanism.
3. Make sure that the cover is not overwound and even its outer edges of the tags which are rather put in the course of dismantle. Fix a cover by bandage tapes.
