Engine assembly order after performance of capital repairs
Before assembly make sure available all necessary replaceable components, tools and materials. Attentively study the description of the procedure and prepare for performance of work. Among the other equipment it will be required also sealants for interface of the surfaces which are not equipped with laying and fixing of threaded connections. Authors of the present manual recommend to use only materials, means, devices and replaceable components of company production (are specified in the text).
For saving of time and minimization of risk of different emergence of difficulties authors of the Guide recommend to make installation of components in the following order at assembly of the engine:
Engine of 1.3 l
a) Bent shaft;
b) Conrod and piston assemblies;
c) A head of cylinders (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.3 l of the present Chapter);
d) Assembly of an axis of yokes;
e) A GRM drive chain with asterisks (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.3 l of the present Chapter);
f) A flywheel (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.3 l);
g) Case pallet;
h) Hinged components and units.
Engines of 1.6 l and diesel
a) Bent shaft;
b) Conrod and piston assemblies;
c) The oil pump (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine of the present Chapter);
d) The case pallet (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine);
e) A flywheel (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine);
f) A head of cylinders with laying (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine);
g) Natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, cogwheels and actually a GRM drive belt (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine);
h) Hinged components and units;
i) A belt (i) of the drive of auxiliary units with pulleys and natyazhitel (see the Part Repair without extraction from the car of the petrol engine of 1.6 l or Repair without extraction from the car of the diesel engine).
At this stage the serviceable and restored components of the engine which are subject to installation all have to be absolutely pure and dry. It will be correct to spread out details as installation on a pure working surface. |
