Replacement of gearbox oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Replacement of gearbox oil is carried out much quicker and more simply if previously to make a short trip on the car, having warmed up the power unit up to the normal working temperature.
2. Park the car on the flat horizontal platform, whenever possible with a hard coating and firmly cock the parking brake. For the purpose of ensuring access the car can be поддомкрачен, or is tired out on a platform / a viewing hole (you remember need of keeping of horizontal position of its situation).
3. Carefully wipe the top part of a case of RKPP around installation of assembly of the drive of a speedometer.
4. Turn out a bolt, remove a fixing plate and take from a case assembly of the drive of a speedometer (see the Section Check of Level of Gearbox Oil). Check a condition of a sealing ring of assembly, in case of need make replacement.

5. Wipe a surface around the drain stopper located in the case basis, directly under the internal CV JOINT of the left power shaft. Get a reception container under a drain opening and turn out a stopper.

6. Let's oil flow down in drain capacity. If the engine was warmed previously, try not to burn. Carefully wipe a drain stopper, having removed the smallest metal sawdust from a magnetic insert. Prepare a new sealing washer.
7. When the effluence of oil stops, clean a carving of a drain stopper and reciprocal to it in a case opening. Put on a new sealing washer, then screw a stopper and tighten it with the required effort.
8. Gas station of gearbox oil takes a lot of time and demands certain skills. Remember that the car has to be installed strictly horizontally.
9. Oil is filled in through an opening in a case under installation of assembly of the drive of a speedometer. The gulf in the transmission the amount of oil of the required grade stipulated in Specifications, check its level (see the Section Check of Level of Gearbox Oil). In case of need make adjustment, having respectively added oil, or having pumped out surplus. Establish into place assembly of the drive of a speedometer, then make on the car a short trip for distribution of fresh oil on a surface of internal components of transmission. Then double-check oil level.
