Coupling consists of the frictional disk more often called by a clutch plate, assemblies of a basket with a press disk and the release bearing with the coupling switching off mechanism. All listed components are placed in the big casing made of aluminum alloy, which is usually called by a coupling dome. The dome is clamped between the engine and the transmission. Control of functioning of the mechanism of switching off of coupling is exercised by means of the hummock drive.
The frictional disk is established between a flywheel of the engine and a release disk of basket assembly. The nave of a disk is equipped with the vents allowing it to move along shlits of a pin of a main shaft of the transmission.
The considered petrol models of cars are completed with coupling of production of the Fichtel & Sachs or Trnava company.
Assembly of a basket of a pribolchen directly to a flywheel. At the working engine rotation is transferred from a bent shaft to a frictional disk, at the released coupling pedal strongly clamped between a flywheel and a press disk of a basket, and further - to main shaft RKPP.
To break link between the transmission and the engine, it is necessary to weaken a diaphragm spring of a press disk, having released thereby a clutch plate. When squeezing a pedal of coupling a driving cable, influencing the executive lever located in the top part of a fork of switching off of coupling develops the last. Turning, the fork of switching off of coupling presses the release bearing to petals of a diaphragm spring of a press disk. Being deformed, the spring weakens clamping effort that lead to release of a frictional disk. Serviceability of functioning of coupling is guaranteed by a regularity of performance of its adjustments.
Overlays of a frictional disk are made from not containing material asbestos. The disk should be established by the party with stronger the coming-out nave (to a casing). The casing of coupling (basket) fastens to a flywheel six bolts of M8x16 which should be replaced every time at assembly removal. On some models coupling like TAZ, is established by the different weaker effort having the similar sizes and only developed by a diaphragm spring. Overlays of couplings of all applied types are interchanged.
On diesel models coupling of F&S of a little bigger diameter is established (see Specifications). The design of assembly is similar described above. Frictional slips, naturally have the big area of contact. The press spring is also strengthened.
Press the disk is equipped with additional springs of a quencher of tortional fluctuations (as in assemblies of TAZ). The flywheel also has bigger diameter and is equipped with the landing pins located at an angle 120 ° to each other.
Coupling of diesel models and petrol models of 1.6 l are equipped with the lever of switching off of bigger length (see Specifications).
