General information
Models of 1.3 l
The fan of the cooling system is intended for creation of a compulsory stream of air via the radiator heat exchanger for the purpose of ensuring necessary intensity of the heat sink.
The fan is placed behind a radiator. For its drive the electric motor like the 55 W PAL 443 132 166 010 is used.
The 4-bladed plastic krylchatka is put on a shaft of the engine. The electric motor is placed in the diffuser fixed on the top and lower walls of the heat exchanger of a radiator by means of four bolts of M6x10. For fastening of an electric motor in a casing of the diffuser three bolts are used.
Turning on of the fan is made at a temperature of cooling liquid of 97 ± 2 °C, switching off - at 88 °C (model without To/in).
Models of 1.6 l without To/in
The fan has the increased diameter (280 mm). For the drive the electric motor of production of the Bosch company with a power of 130 W is used.

The diffuser of the fan is displaced to the left and fastens two bolts at the left and one on the right. Krylchatka of the fan - 6-bladed with a diameter of 300 mm.

1. Giving of food on the fan of the cooling system is carried out via the switch of ignition and a safety lock (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). Also thermosensitive sensor switch of the fan screwed in a radiator wall enters a contour. 2. In case of refusal the fan in the first it is always necessary to check a condition of safety locks. In the absence of signs of their exit out of operation, start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature, having left then working at single turns. If the fan does not work within several minutes (or earlier than the measuring instrument of temperature will record an overheat), switch off ignition and disconnect a sensor switch electrical wiring. Connect a crossing point two contacts of the electric socket and again include ignition. If now the fan begins to function, it is necessary to replace the faulty sensor switch. 3. If the fan still does not work, make sure that on the sensor switch socket power supply of the battery (12 V) regularly moves. If food is absent, check a condition of the corresponding electrical wiring (perhaps, the fan electric motor failed, or the safety lock fused). If it is not possible to reveal any malfunctions, make sure available conductivity between the plug of grounding of the sensor switch and weight. If conductivity is absent, therefore grounding is broken and it is necessary to make the corresponding repair. 4. If performance of all listed checks does not allow to establish a fan cause of failure, it is necessary to check a condition of an electric motor of the drive of a krylchatka. Disunite the electric socket and give a power supply from the battery directly on motor plugs. If the motor does not work and this time, replace it assembled. |

REMOVAL
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from a fan electric motor, |
|
then release wires from intermediate clamps on a casing, |
|
also remove a casing of ventilatory assembly from a back part of a radiator. |
|
3. In case of need give fixing nuts, remove washers and separate the motor from an assembly casing. Now the krylchatka can be removed from the motor after an otpuskaniye of a fixing clamp. |

INSTALLATION
|
1. Establish assembly of the motor on a casing, put on washers, then screw fixing nuts and strongly tighten them. If removed, put a krylchatka on a spindle of the motor and fix her by a clamp. 2. Establish assembly on a radiator and fix it by bolts. 3. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring (do not forget to connect the battery). |

DISMANTLING
|
1. Merge cooling liquid. 2. Disconnect hoses of cooling liquid from a radiator. 3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the thermosensitive sensor switch and an electric motor of the drive of the fan. 4. Dismantle an assembly bracket. 5. Turn out fixing screws. Also remove a radiator in assembly with the fan. 6. Give diffuser fixture to a radiator.

7. Turn out fixing screws and remove a krylchatka by means of special adaptation (MR8-102). |

ASSEMBLY
|
Assembly is made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order. Pay special attention to the next moments:
a) Krylchatka has to napressovyvatsya on assembly, but not jam at all; b) Tighten all fixture with the required effort; c) Track correctness of landing of components; d) Do not forget to fill in fresh cooling liquid in system. |
