Check of installation of turns of bystry idling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

See the preventions provided in the Section Removal from the car of the power unit - preparation and precautionary measures, general information about a suspension bracket of the power unit.

1. The valve of increase in turns of idling is installed in a back part of a motive compartment, near the electromagnetic EGR valve, and equipped with the electric socket of gray color. The device functions at warming up of the cold engine, and also at increase in load of engines during turning on of the equipment which functioning leads to decrease in turns of normal idling (head headlights, a heater of back glass, etc.). By the principle of action the device can be compared not to forcibly operating air gate on petrol engines, and more likely to the device of stabilization of turns of idling. Below the procedure for test of serviceability of functioning of the device is described.

2. Check correctness of installation of turns of normal idling, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
3. Start the engine, then include the greatest possible number of onboard consumers of the electric power.

It is supposed that the battery and system of a charge of the car function regularly. Turns of idling should not fall considerably.

4. On the heated-up engine disconnect a hose from the vacuum capsule of the valve of the device of increase in turns. Turns have to rise to the value stipulated in Specifications.

5. The possibility of adjustment of the device of increase in turns of idling is not provided. In case of refusal or violations of serviceability of functioning of the valve check a condition of a vacuum hose. Also make sure that the driving cable is not overwound. The cable has to be adjusted so that between a hummock clip and the executive lever there was a small side play. The faulty valve is subject to replacement.
