1. Recommended by manufacturers of cars of the considered brand for gas station of a grade of fuel are provided in Specifications at the beginning of the present Chapter.
2. There are two methods of determination of octane number of fuel: research and motor. Usually at gas stations the octane number determined by a research method (AI) is given.
3. For gas station of the models equipped with the catalytic converter (all Skoda Felicia models with fuel injection), ethylated gasoline should not be used at all (type 4-star according to the standard of Great Britain). Violation of this requirement can lead to failure of a working element of the converter. |
