Check of serviceability of functioning of hydraulic pushers

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

After installation of hydraulic pushers wait not less than 30 minutes before starting the engine (it is recommended to postpone start to morning of the next day), otherwise it will be impossible to exclude completely risk of collision of pistons with valves!

1. Pushers of valves on the considered engine are equipped with hydraulic compensators that allows to refuse need of regular adjustment of valvate gaps.
2. In case of increase in level of the noise published by the valvate mechanism it is necessary to check serviceability of functioning of hydraulic pushers.
3. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature. For a couple of minutes lift engine turns till 2500 a minute (turns of bystry idling), then kill the engine. Uncover a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
4. Turning the engine for a bolt of a bent shaft, expose a cam of the first cylinder of the camshaft a working ledge up.
5. By means of the probe lezviyny measure gap size between a heel of a cam and an end face of assembly of a hydraulic pusher. If the result of measurement exceeds 0.2 mm, the pusher should be replaced.

6. At a normal amount of a gap (less than 0.2 mm) rest against the top end face of a pusher and wring out it down to an emphasis against the stop in a valve core.

Push-up of a pusher should be made only by means of the tool manufactured of soft material (a tree, plastic).

7. If pusher course size against the stop in a core of the valve exceeds 0.2 mm, assembly is faulty and is subject to replacement.
