Replacement of brake fluid

The liquid used in a hydraulic contour of the brake system is extremely toxic and chemically aggressive. Try not to allow hits of brake fluid in eyes and on the painted surfaces of body panels. Besides, brake fluid differs in high hygroscopicity therefore its use after long storage in an open container is inadmissible. Excessive moisture content is capable to reduce efficiency of braking considerably.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The order of implementation of the procedure is similar described in the Head the Brake system for pumping of the brake system, with that amendment that the GTTs tank has to be previously emptied by means of the syringe or a rubber pear.
2. Open the gate of pumping of a support / the wheel cylinder of the first in the order of the brake mechanism (see the Head the Brake system), then several smooth pressing a pedal of a foot brake extort the brake fluid which is present at GTTs.
3. Add the tank to mark MOVE and repeat pumping until brake fluid is not completely replaced (fresh liquid has to begin to follow via the gate). Tighten the gate and again add the tank to the maximum mark.

Old brake fluid is usually much more dark on color, than fresh therefore during the procedure there should not be special difficulties.

4. Repeat the procedure serially for each of the remained supports / wheel cylinders - you watch that liquid level in the GTTs tank did not fall below the mark MIN in order to avoid a podsasyvaniye to system of air that it is capable to increase expenses of time and forces substantially.
5. At the end of the procedure make sure of reliability of tightening of gates of pumping. Do not forget to put on protective caps gates. Collect all traces of the spilled brake fluid and double-check level in the GTTs tank.
6. Before starting operation of the car make sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes.
